Superb French carved wood novelty dress cane / walking stick, made in France circa 1900. This is a stunning single piece walking stick / cane with a finely carved French gentleman with his top hat and evening costume. The walking stick has a polished wood oval knob handle and a silver plate collar with a horseshoe.

The man has a superb beard and naturalistic glass eyes. The cane has a tapering wood shaft with white ferrule. The cane is 1-1/4 inches / 31 mm wide and it is 35 inches / 889 mm tall. The walking stick is in excellent condition.
