Antique c1870's-80's French Black Slate & Red Marble Clock with Battery Movement. Ntique c1870's-80's French mantel clock. This is in working order. The clock has a beautiful architectural style black slate and red marble body with etched gilt decoration throughout.

The face is circular in shape with a gold coloured metal chapter ring, black coloured numerals and black coloured hands. The face is protected by a flat glass door this a brass bezel. The glass is in excellent condition with no scratches, chips or cracks. To the rear of the clock there is access to the replacement battery operated quartz mechanism (requires one size "AA" battery). Height: 28.75cm (11 1/2).
