Antique Crystal Girandoles Pair Chandeliers Victorian French Large Limoges c

Pair Antique French Girandoles, circa 1850. Outstanding pair of French neoclassical ormolu mounted blue and clear cut two-light girandoles/ candelabra, dating to the mid 19th century, circa 1850. Each girandole features a royal blue limoge porcelain hand painted vase depicting romantic scenes. The pierced girdle draped with cut crystal drops and flanked by two curved ormolu candle branches, the central ormolu stem issuing a tent of crystal drops with further slender sprays of crystal drops and surmounted by crescent moon finials. The whole raised on a stepped square Carrara marble base.

Due to their high led content, once the sunlight / light hits the girandoles, the crystal drops reflect the colours of the rainbow throughout the room (we have tried to capture this in the pictures). 46 cm high x 26 cm wide.

Overall in very good condition with no repairs, damage or glass missing. Please ask any questions that you may have.
