Our Stock # 18.8383. This is an antique fire screen. A French, bronzed wrought iron fireside shield with Art Nouveau taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900. Classic Continental heraldic overtones with wonderful hand-beaten finish.

Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order. Bronzed wrought iron shows appealing tonality to the weathered appearance. Hand-beaten relief with a knight's helmet and shield decor. Prominent fleur-de-lys stand above the whole. Raised upon striking Art Nouveau legs with small pad feet.

This is an attractive antique fire screen, with superb Art Nouveau and heraldic overtones. A treat for any fireside. Delivered polished and ready to use.
