Antique French Porcelain Dove Vase Joseph Gaspard Robert Bird Figural Victorian. Available is this antique porcelain vase in the form of a dove. It is decorated with hand painted berries, and vines around the rim. The piece stands just under 5 inches tall, and is 4 by 5 inches in diameter.

The condition is fairly good, however there are some small chips on the foliage, a few broken petals and the stems of the blackberries are missing a few bits. However overall it is in good shape, with no obvious repairs or other damage. One wing has a small flea bite in the underside end.

The hallmark is an entwined J and R - Joseph Gaspard Robert based on some online references. This looks a good deal like a Royal Worcester design - of the mid 1800's but the date on this one is unknown.
