Antique French Victorian Ornate Gilt Oil Argand Ormulu Lamp Parts Burners X 4
4 x ANTIQUE VICTORIAN FRENCH ORNATE GILT ORMULU LAMP BURNER FITTINGS. These do have markings on the end of the arm fitting - it has a plaque stamped PAR BREVET DINVENTION. This would confirm them being of French origin - they certainly have that fantastic highly decorative French appearance. Obviously finding the parts to restore them might be difficult - and it's a considerable amount of work required but to well worth it when you see what the final result could look like. Each Sconce measures approx 30cm from finial to end connector - but the arm drops lower than the body of the sconce so total length from finial to lowest connector is 37cm and 20cm widthways accross the arm.
This is a gilt / gilded ORMULU metal finish rather than being brass. I would estimate they likely date to to early to mid part of the 19th Century. Each sconce has an internal tin reservoir for holding the oil. Only two of the end candle inserts are present. And one of the fittings is missing it's finial - see photo.
