Antique French Victorian Rosewood Carved Wall Crucifix Gilt Jesus Christ 19thC. This is a beautifully hand carved wooden crucifix. It has a beautiful gilt spelter metal figure of Christ and an INRI plaque. The wood is solid and is porbably rosewood. It has beautiful carved thorn details.

It can be hung on the wall with the hook on the back. Total height: about 12 1/4 inch / 30.5 cm. Total width: about 6 3/4 inch / 17 cm.

Some surface wear and patina to the gilding of the Christ figure and plaque, wood in nice condition, see the photos. Flower in the first photo is not included. We are based in France and offer a lot of European antique and vintage items.
