Antique Victorian Heavy Copper Jam Pan - Rolled Top - Seamed -16. A deeper than usual jam pan with a rolled top and visible seams around the bottom and side. Brass handles attached with copper rivets. It is very worn and has what appears to be traces of tin on the inside and polish residue on the outside.
Signs of wear and tear including dents, scratches and scuffs as you would expect from such a functional item. Great for a garden planter as copper is well known as a deterrent for slugs.
40.5cm Diameter (pan only). I would say that it was from the Victorian era and possibly French. Please don't hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.
