Antique Inkwell Victorian Bronze French Inkwell Ormolu 19th Century Large c1860
A large and heavy antique French double inkwell comprising bronze, ormolu and crystal, dating to the 19th century, circa 1860. The inkwell features a large shell to accommodate stationary; a figure of a cherub reclines at the top and is flanked by two crystal inkwells with ormolu lids; these are original to the base. The inkwell has been completed in the Rococo style and features foliage and pierced decoration.

17 cm high x 32 cm wide x 25 cm deep. Overall, the inkwell is in good condition. The ormolu retains a good colour. Please note, this item was created with the intention of being used everyday, and as such, does show some signs of age and usage. Please ask any questions that you may have.
