Antique Mantel Clock French Victorian in the Louis XV Style Restored

A very good quality French Louis XV style boulle red tortoise shell serpentine shaped mantel clock with scroll leaf bronze gilt ormolu mounts and carrying handle. The clock has a white enamel dial with a French eight day movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell. The movement back plate is stamped with the makers names:- Samuel Marti Height - 30 cm (12 inches) Width - 18 cm (7 inches) Depth - 10 cm (4 inches) Circa - 1900. This clock is in lovely condition ready for your home. The case has been repolished and waxed.

The mounts have been cleaned and lacquered and the movement has been cleaned and serviced and comes with a 12 month guarantee.
