A really lovely solid oak wood sleigh bed. A bit longer and wider than a UK single size, (but not as wide as a queen size). Beautiful and unique carvings of wheat and grapevines along the front, with Art Nouveau swirls along the edge. Slats are modern replacement of solid pine.

Max height of both the head and foot board is 39 (ie, they are both the same height). Max external length is 84" and max internal length is 77 and 3/4 ". Height from floor to top of slats is 14" and additional distance from top of the slat to top of front side in the centre is 2 and 1/2".

Max external width is 40 and 1/2", and internal width is 37 and 1/4". I used it with a regular UK single mattress (Not supplied) and it was fine - plenty of room for cushions and tucking in bedding.

A EU size single (Like Ikea do) would also be fine as they are a bit longer than UK size.
