Antique Victorian Art Nouveau French Silver Glass Paste Floral Brooch 1.5 Inch

For sale is a Victorian period 800 silver Art Nouveau brooch featuring faux diamond and emerald glass paste stones. The brooch has a length of 4 cm (1.57 inches), a width of 3.2 cm (1.2 Inches), and a total weight of 16.4 grams. Please note that one of the green paste stone has a chip and abrasions, and some of the clear paste stones have yellowed. The pin on the reverse also has become slightly misshapen over time.

It is marked with a French boar's head stamp and is constructed from at least 80% purity silver. Overall a beautiful Victorian paste brooch in excellent wearable condition.

Please be aware that this is an antique item and so it will display wear commensurate with its age, including scratches, indentations, areas of tarnishing, and the paste gemstones show signs of wear, small chipping, and yellowing.
