Antique Victorian c1880's French Black Slate & Green Marble Chimeless Clock. This is an antique Victorian c1880's French chimeless mantel clock. This is in great condition and is in full working order. Architectural black slate and green marble.

Body with a metal urn shaped finial to the top and decorative metal finials to each side. There are also beautiful carvings to the bottom centre of the slate and around the face. The slate is matte black in colour with patches of the old lustre in places. The face is circular in shape with an off white coloured enamel chapter ring, black coloured numerals and black coloured hands. The face is turned slightly off centre to the right.

The face is protected by a flat glass door with a decorative brass bezel. The glass is in excellent condition with no scratched, cracks or chips. To the back is the door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and in excellent condition. This comes complete with its pendulum and key. Width: 21.25cm (8 1/2). If you have any questions please let me know.
