The beetles' wings are constructed from polished, custom cut, garnets that are well matched showing a deep, dark, red color bringing a truly rich look to this piece. The body of the beetle is then adorned with old rose cut diamonds in which brilliantly sparkle for a glamorous touch, while the eyes stand out with the vivid red color of the cabochon cut rubies. The remaining areas display high quality workmanship with its truly outstanding and realistic detail, including at the underside of the beetle in which is perfectly set on the gold stick that is elegantly adorned with a lovely cultured pearl at its top.
