Antique victorian French Ink Station. From french black slate, and brass the year is 1884 approx, the central brass urn has a peacock finish glanced by two brass inkwells with hinged brass lids the glass to the inkwells is complete no chips, the finial is engraved with the words LES RESERVISTES des CLASSES 1875- 1877and 1844 which commemorates the cities of Paris and Lyon forming there own governments in 1875.
