Antique Victorian French Silk Tapestry Original Black/Silver Wood & Gesso Frame

It is in the original wood and gesso frame with original black and silver finish. The tapestry is stamped Made in France on the back. The frame has a few areas of minor chipping along the edges, but nearly 100% of the paint and gesso are intact and the entire piece is solid and sturdy. The tapestry does not have any obvious damage (might be slightly yellowed from age or have some soiling, but nothing that is obvious). There is a piece of ribbon on the back that was used for hanging and should be upgraded to a sturdy hanging wire.

Outer dimensions of the frame are 27" W x 35" H and the tapestry measures 19" W x 27" H.
