Description : Figural tie pin depicting a small, winged cherub emerging from a cracking egg. This mythological allegory refers to the Birth of Love. Both cherub and egg with great detail, from the cracks and tears in the egg to the face and wings of the cherub and most endearingly, his foot pushing through the eggshell.A delightful jewel for a very smart person. Comes in original fitted box with golden velvet inside and a lovely mottled, marbled faux marble on the outside. Marks and Metal: French Owl mark for 18k gold of unknown origin.
