Fabulous antique French bronze canopy, end of years 1800, fitted with its blue dripping valance, the larger drapes which can be seen on the pictures are NOT INCLUDED but are listed separately. Beautifully shaped and scalloped, it carries a central upright crown of roses with rose garlands on both sides, smaller ornaments in the corners and a ribbon effect all around the main bronze frame. The underside is decorated with a sunrise pleated blue velvet and a solid chain measuring around 19.50L (50cm) helps to fix it to the wall.

The ciel de lit is 37.25"L (95cm) against the wall, 22"L (56cm) in front and it protrudes 19.75(50cm) from the wall. The central crown motif is 9.75" H(25cm), the bronze frame with ribbon effect is 1.50"H(4cm). The attached blue fabric valance with pink lining and pink and blue passementerie braid drips 12 (30cm) down at the front and 21.50 (55cm) on each side. There are lots of hooks for hanging drapes or muslin. Please view my pictures closely as ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
