Fabulous Large French Chest Of Drawers, Antique, Victorian

Offered for sale is this Fabulous Large French Chest Of Drawers. Raised on four short straight legs this chest has 6 drawers, the top drawer having a carved front, it has no handles but does have a working key. The remaining 5 drawers have gilded handles and central escutcheon. The chest is further embellished with carved corbels and has a grey marble top which is removable. Overall this chest is in very good condition for it's age albeit does have the usual wear associated with old/antique furniture.

The handles have at some time been replaced before my ownership, however the current handles do suit the chest very well. All drawers are good and function as they should. 41 1/4 inches (105 cm) wide.
