Fine Victorian antique solid carved mahogany Louis XVI style fauteuil armchair. South East Antiques are pleased to offer this good quality antique chair. Dating from the late Victorian period, this elegant elbow chair is carved from solid mahogany.

It has a shaped back with floral ornament over pad seat raised on cabriole front supports. The chair frame is in sturdy vintage condition, free from woodworm, although the seat requires re-upholstery. The armchair measures 58 cm (22 3/4 in) wide by 89 cm (35 in) tall and 49 cm.
