ALL OUR CONTACT INFORMATION IS LISTED UNDER. DESCRIPTION: This is a wonderful brass drum head clock which is very nicely detailed. The glass over the dial is thick bevelled glass mounted in a brass frame, this opens to access the dial. The dial has is set out with lovely decorative Arabic numerals and then has a brass centre. It is finished with a super pair of shaped fingers.
The case has nicely shaped brass drum head and has a lovely shaped brass turning to the top and either side of the dial. T he clock is then raised on three column supports which are nicely reeded to the front whilst the one to the rear in nicely shaped.
The whole clock is then raised on the most superbly detailed and decorative claw feet. The rear door also opens to access the movement. The movement is nice and clean and is in good working order ticking and chiming away and has recently been serviced. The movement chimes the hours on a bell on the hour, and once on the half past. In addition this clock comes complete with it's winding key and pendulum. The movement is stamped with'VINCENTI & CIE MEDAILLE D'ARGENT 1855' and'269 4 11' on the movement back plate. DIMENSIONS: The approximate maximum dimensions are: - 6.75 inches (17cm) wide - 5.5 inches (14 cm) deep - 11.5 inches (29 cm) high. AGE: The silver medal was won by Vincenti in 1855 and these ceased production in 1870 so this dates the clock between 1855 and 1870. CONDITION: The condition is excellent just the usual blemishes commensurate with age.
