French Carved Walnut Standard Double 4 feet 6 Inch wide Slat Platform Base

This is a stunning French carved walnut double bed (4ft 6 wide) in beautiful condition. The base is a later addition but is ideal as it lifts off for transport and the rest comes in sections. The bed is ready for use and looks very pretty.

As with all old French beds, this one has had a tiny bit of worm in the past, they are all dead. But has been treated for safety sake as we do with all wooden items. End is 59", the foot is 34" and the side rails from the ground are 10 inc the base. The bed is a standard double width 54" and 76" long.
