This is a stunning looking French four glass mantle clock, the brass frame has been completely stripped down and cleaned it has lovely decorative panels top and bottom, all glasses are good except for one which has a small chip in the top right hand corner, the clock comes with a wall bracket see photos, not sure if this is original to the clock or has been specially made but it is of good quality. The dial again is in good condition except for a small hairline by the twelve but nothing to detract from the looks, it has a pierced brass centre. The movement has been completely stripped and cleaned using the correct fluids in our workshop and is working well and keeping good time, it strikes every hour and half hour on a coiled gong, it has GB in a circle and 685 with what looks like a star shape stamped inside the plates of the movement, this is the makers mark but have not been able to find out who it is. It measures 16cms x 32cms x 13cms and comes with a key for winding and another to adjust the pendulum.
