French Linen Painted & Distressed Dressing Chest With Swing Large Mirror c1900. This good quality dressing chest is constructed. With a solid walnut front, top & sides with plywood back. & dates back from circa 1900. It is of good sized proportions & offers a fair amount of storage space. Consisting of a large hand carved swing mirror with 2x small top drawers above 2x short over 2x long drawers. It comes with original locks without keys & decorative handles. Standing on a nice shaped base.

This item is very solid & robust & would suit many locations around the home. It has recently been painted with 2x coats Annie sloan chalk paint with a coat of sealer inbetween coats, intended to help prevent chipping for longer periods of time, it has then been lightly distressed on any sharp edges to add charm & charicter to the piece before further sealing the paint in with a soft clear wax.
