Large Antique Curtain drape French France silk damask Victorian The Textile tru

Hello and Welcome to the Textile Trunk! Please follow us on Instagram! This wonderful piece is the left panel. This curtain would have hung from a wonderfully decorated bed!

It is swept to one side for dramatic effect and this is the area that the curtain robe would have been hung! The fabric is the most fabulous silk and cotton damask!! The ground tone is golden camel!

With floral designs include : pinks, blue red yellow and orange. There is the most fabulous sheen to this panel! The trim is heavenly too!

This textile is backed with natural cotton. There are tiny rings all over the top edge for hanging An AMAZING find simply beautiful MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures 126 inches long by 33 inches wide at the top CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition There are some light signs of time and use, like the sun marks on the backing however generally this textile is in wonderful condition indeed! It's quite exceptional to find an antique textile is this wonderful of condition!
