LARGE ANTIQUE STEREOSCOPE VIEWER & 1 STEREOVIEW 3D PHOTO CARD. Here we have an antique Victorian Stereoscope / Zograscope 3D viewer.
Made in Paris, France, by E. Hautecoeur, and the address is on the label'35, Avenue de l'Opera'. I believe it to be from the late 19th century. With a beautiful flower and basket carved design. Includes 1 stereoview card made by Realistic Travels, titled'On the long march through torrid heat to Bagdad', showing soldiers marching, and that is in excellent condition. Folds away and assembles as it should. It is in remarkably good condition for its age, but is missing a lens and the eyepieces and lens that is present are loose and fall out of place easily, but is still very solid otherwise. Has some age related imperfections to the wood (2 cracks around the rim of the larger lens, and a slight fracture to one corner) and minor wear in parts, but with age in mind, it is really still very good. Measures approx 8.5" x 14" across the base, and 3.5 tall. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT OUR VINTAGE ITEMS AT.This item is in the category "Collectables\Photographic Images\Stereoviews & Stereoscopes".
