Pair of His Hers French Bedside Tables Antique Louis style. A wonderful and charming pair of Painted French His and Hers bedsides in the Louis style.
Constructed from oak and having been painted in France, they have that attractive and shabby chic French look that works so well in any bedroom. C Early 20th century - Sourced from France. Oak wood Construction with a strong, firm solid frame and good movement in the drawers. Painted in Off white with a wax finish and light distressing. Some subtle marks or imperfections should be expected due to the items age and use over the years.
But overall these bedsides are in great condition. They have been painted previously (so this is not painted by us) and have been done so using what feels like a chalk based paint. The paintwork is not the best so please expect this, and and has been done in the typical French way which is reflected in the price! Despite this they still look fantastic and have a very French look.They could be easily painted over again should you wish. We have polished using a clear wax to preserve and flatten out the paint finish. Size Approx: 73-75cm h x 38cm w x 30cm d. Due to this items history and age it will display a unique time worn patina. We believe this only adds to both the beauty and character, creating an individual yet authentic piece that cannot be replicated.
This is not a new item and therefore it should be expected to contain some subtle knocks in the wood, signs of age and use (or patina).
