The color is sienna brown. I believe This bodice is lined in natural cotton and 100% hand stitched. There is boning (running only up the front enclosure side with the receiving loop of the hook), but I'm not sure of what as the garment is in such beautiful condition it's not exposed! Tiny tiny tiny hand stitches. The fabric is silk taffeta This textile has to be seen to be believed!
I have many hundreds thousands! Of wonderful French work wear and clothing in stock!! (E 400) MEASUREMENTS : This textile measures approx. The sleeves measure 17 inches from the shoulder seam to the cuff. Laid flat, the measurement across the chest from one underarm to the other is approx. The shoulders across the back measure approx. 15 inches seam to seam The waist measures approx 24 inches!! CONDITION : This piece is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. I've never found an antique bodice in such astounding condition. I can't even find anything to report maybe some pale storage marks on the lining? It's really wonderful indeed All buttons intact!
