Stunning Antique Silk Victorian Skirt French Woman's Dress Edwardian Yardage

Gorgeous subtle taupe color with gold accent illuminates in the sunlight. This skirt is in need of repair. It is all hand sewn and many of the seams have begun to separate. As you can see from the photos the accent pieces from what I assume was a bustle have come undone. That said I believe all the pieces are included and they are all in great condition for age. No holes, rips or major stains. This lovely piece would be a great project for someone to reconfigure back to its glory.

It would also be wonderful to repurposed as there is A-LOT of lovely silk!!!! Many large panels and wonderful elements for reworking. A lovely piece, the silk is in good strong condition. If I had someplace to go I would have it reconstructed for myself! Dating from the early 1900's perhaps late 1800's.

Wonderful piece for collector, costume designer or crafty person wishing to work with lovely antique silk. Great for large scale dolls. Please see photos for additional detail.

As there is so many parts to this skirt! Waist to hem in front 40. I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but c. Ondition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile.
