Stunning & Rare Antique 18th Century French Rosewood Sofa with Original Fabric. Here is a stunning and very rare antique French, rosewood sofa.

It's a stunning piece and is in original condition with the cushions. It has a beautifully, floral carved back rail, scroll arms, a shaped frieze and carved cabriole legs.

The sofa has clearly been an ornamental piece as there is no sagging to the upholstery whatsoever. The fabric has obvious signs of age but there are no tears or rips. Given this sofa is circa 200 years old it's in incredible condition. There is some very small & faint hand etched writing on the back rail which adds to the history of this sofa (Martine et Bruno). It's only visible from a foot away. From a smoke free home. I'm happy to be available if you wish to use a courier to collect.
