Victorian 14K & 18K Rose & Yellow Gold French /German Fancy Link Chain Book

This is certainly an unusual necklace. It has very unusual hallmarks. One hallmark is Depose: meaning registered in France and the other on the same ring is Geschutzt also meaning registered in German. So with this being said, it is of french and german origin, perhaps imported from one country to another or from a french and german company.... The necklace is crafted from four different elements, Shamrocks, Lyres, three-dimensional beads and jump rings.

The shamrocks are flat cutouts as are the lyres in a rose gold. They are crafted from 14K solid gold acid tested. The clasp is a replacement clasp as it is hallmarked and tested as 18K (750) solid gold. There is a ring in the very center of the chain to allow one to place a locket or charm on.

But it is not necessary as the necklace is busy enough one will not notice the ring. The beads are textured three-dimensional yellow gold with two jump rings that attach to the proceeding form. The condition of this necklace is wonderful with normal wear. Shamrocks: 6.3 mm wide. Lyre: 5.8 mm wide.
