This is a very rare brooch, dating around the late Georgian early Victorian and of French origin. º SIZE 60 mm by 20 mm It is known as an en Tremblant , the term refers to the trembling feature of a piece of jewel, as in this instance, the Flower head, this is 19mm diameter. º WEIGHT 8 grams The entire brooch is encrusted in Diamonds, each one natural, and all rose cuts, The Diamonds are set into the flower head and the foliates, over 50 diamonds in all, they range from 2 to 5 pointers this is measured by the spread since rose cuts are flatter than a modern round cut.
