Victorian, 18ct, Gold Ring. Vintage Marquise Ruby & Enamel. Possibly French 1890

Very Beautiful and rare design Ring. Set in Yellow, 18ct Gold, this is a very unusual, dramatic and elegant ring.

Set in a flush bezel is a deep cherry pink Marquise cut Ruby approx 0.65ct. Surrounding the gem is a layer of rich delicate Blue Enamel. The ring is in lovely condition, especially considering all the age and wear it must have seen.

The Enamel is intact and still a lovely vivid blue. The ring is in 18ct Gold, the band in good and very wearable condition. There is a minimal gapping between the Ruby and the bezel it is mounted in, but this is being picky pointing it out as barely visible. The ring is size Q1/2 Stamped 18ct, weighs 1.9g.
