Dating from the mid Victorian period, this substantial barbers chair is constructed from solid beech. It has an adjustable headrest flanked by scroll arms over a pad seat rasied on turned front supports. The chair is in sturdy vintage condition and free from woodworm. The armchair (as per first photo) measures 60 cm (23 1/2 in) wide by 85 cm (33 1/2 in) tall and 55 cm (21 3/4 in) deep, the seat height is 50 cm (19 3/4 in).
